![]() ![]() I really loved Rincewind and Twoflower's new companions Cohen the Barbarian, once legendary but now ageing and toothless, and his teenage bride Bethan who he rescued after she was to become a ritual sacrifice. Meanwhile evil power hungry wizard Trymon wants possession of all of the eight spells inside his own head. ![]() He's had enough of it and resolves to go back to the Unseen University and try to put it back in the book it came out of. It's all because of that spell in his head. ![]() ![]() Rincewind is the only person who can save the Disworld from fiery death, not that he knows it. so forgive the slight rubbishness of this "review" as it is from my bad memory! but I'm learning to just go with it! I finished this book over a week ago in baking hot sun. Although I still a bit confused at times. I enjoyed this much more than the first one! The plot was much more a straightforward quest format which made it a lot easier to follow. It's probably helped that I read this immediately after finishing (Colour with a U, seriously Goodreads!). This is the second part to the story of Rincewind and Twoflower's adventures (as they were last seen falling over the edge of the world). ![]()
